

My Work
As my business name suggests, when it comes to desserts, I find a lot of my inspiration in nature, in plants, their shapes, and flavour profiles. My favourite companion when dreaming up a new cake is the book of 'The Vegetarian Flavor Bible'.
I can spend hours researching the work of contemporary cake artists, pastry chefs, and food photographers. It brings me immense joy to explore, and apply new decorating techniques. For me, a naked cake is a blank canvas that is waiting to be brought to life for people to enjoy.
Beautifully designed desserts bring me joy. My hope is to spark joy in people with my cakes --nourish them visually, emotionally, and physically.
My ethos can be best described by a quote that I heard from my very first raw dessert instructor, Carolina Chinea:
